Unlocking everyone’s technological potential - workshop
The ‘80s was a magical decade. This thing called “personal computers” had just made it into the mainstream and many households had one. By today's standards, these were extremely rudimentary devices. But, by extension, they were also very approachable. An aspiring developer could look at them and think "I can do that". And the tools – mostly BASIC – were there to make it a reality. But then… something happened.
This workshop is a part of The Festival, organized by Media Evolution and for anyone who would like to learn more about:
- How to program a computer as a non-expert
- How to have fun with software creation
- That “basic” and “beginner-friendly” doesn’t necessarily rule out great end results
