This basic course gives you an introduction to databases and SQL. During the course you get to learn what databses are, how they work and how to write SQL queries against databases.
During the course we will be using Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Express, and the course contains many exercises that help you get started with and understand SQL. What you learn in this course you will also be able to apply to other SQL databases, since SQL is a common standard implemented in different environments.
The course lays the foundation for Intermediate SQL, where you will be learning more about creating and designing your own databases.
The instructor is also actively working as a consultant, and shares his practical experiences of databases.
